Restless

My roommates all were out on hot dates tonight. We had a big stake girls choice dance and they all asked guys and went together. They were supposed to leave around 6, so I could take pictures of them with their dates. For some reason they decided to leave at 7 so I couldn't get pictures of them all done up. I did manage to catch a few pics of them getting ready, enjoy!

I went out to Lehi to have dinner with the fam. I have the greatest family ever. They got me a chocolate ice cream cake to celebrate my birthday. Handmade by my Uncle Eric, packaging and all! Pretty amazing huh?

The candles are my favorite, or lack of candles... whatever! Aunt Jenny didn't have any candles so she used matches instead.

I knew I was coming home to an empty house so I stopped by Wal-Mart on my way home to pick up a Redbox movie. I picked out Restless.

It was awesome. Good pick! Seriously, I loved it. It is probably in my top five favorite movies... At least top 10. I bawled my eyes out, holy moly! I really recommend it.

Makes me Smile :)

We had monday off from school, good old Martin Luther King Jr. He was one amazing man. So how did I spend this holiday? Well, I started it off by waking up at 10:30, not too shabby for me. Cass-a-frass and Smeagol were up watching TV so I go in and join them. It was an episode of Hoarders. After watching that show for an episode and a half, I had to go organize something... So I spent my MLK day organizing my closet and listening to Crossed on audiobook.

That's what makes me smile. Not too hard to please am I?

Also, this is what I had for dinner. Brussels sprouts and a tuna cheese melt. Pretty tasty.

Something that I wore today

Here is a picture of something that I wore today. We went and picked up Brittany (aka Nemo) from the airport. She just got home from Florida! Yay!

Can't wait to see her! We were not sure if we were in the right terminal... Luckily we found her!

We walked pass these things and Smeagol says "This one is Katie sized, and this one is Cassie sized." So naturally we just had to take pictures next to them. 

Letterbox

Here is my lovely letterbox. You could send me mail if you want. It is always awesome getting snail mail. Speaking of mail... I ordered textbooks a couple of weeks ago, but I still haven't gotten them yet. Poop. I need those. 

Adore

I truly adore my owl and teapot collection that I am working on. It makes me happy because most of my collection has come from the people around me that I love a whole lot. I also have several things that have come from across the world!

Here are just a few pictures of part of my collection.

The teapot that says Paris on it made it all the way to Provo from the home of the Eiffel Tower itself via my awesome roommate Smeagol.

That impressive looking owl made out of seashells is from my beautiful little sister Rebekah, she got it in good old California. And that tiny owl by the first "G" of the giggle sign is from Brittany. She brought it home from her expedition to Mexico. She even had to go back to the store the next day because it got left behind at first. He's so cute!

These were handmade by Stephanie. They were some of the coolest Christmas presents ever! They are made out of records. She is so talented. 

This is a jewelry holder that I got this last Christmas from my Motner, (yes I did mean to spell it like that). It holds several other pieces of jewelry that are included in my owl collection. I even have a pair of bronze owl earrings that my dad gave me for Christmas last year.

There is so much more that I could say about all these things because I love them so much! But I will save it for another time...
